Wash & Care Instructions

We want you to enjoy your bag and we take care in choosing quality materials that will be wear well in everyday use. The following are our care instructions for the various materials on your bag depending on the style. Feel free to email us with questions. You should have no problem caring for your bag:

For Vegan Suede: You will be amazed at how our buttery soft suede cleans most stains extremely well. Spot-clean stains  with cool or warm water and mild liquid clothing detergent.  If the stain is grease based a mild dish detergents formulated to remove grease and water-based stains can be used. Wet a cloth with the solution and rub it on the stain until it comes out. Use as little water as possible when cleaning your suede to avoid having the water soak into the bag lining and internal padding. Keep bag flat while lighting rubbing. Use a towel to press / pat out out the water on all sides including the inside when done and dry on a flat surface. Steaming your suede with a steamer is fine for our all suede bags. Never iron your bag.

For Embossed Leather: Wipe gently with a dry cloth or professionally dry clean. Never use water, steam or an iron. 

For Velvets: Spot-clean stains with cool or warm water and mild liquid clothing detergent.  If the stain is grease based a mild dish detergents formulated to remove grease and water-based stains can be used. Wet a cloth with the solution and rub it on the stain until it comes out. Use as little water as possible when cleaning your velvet to avoid having the water soak into the bag lining and internal padding. Keep bag flat while lighting rubbing. Use a towel to press / pat out out the water on all sides including the inside when done and line dry on a flat surface.

For Cotton/Linen Canvas:  Spot-clean stains with cold and mild liquid clothing detergent.  If the stain is grease based a mild dish detergents formulated to remove grease and water-based stains can be used. Wet a cloth with the solution and rub it on the stain until it comes out. Use as little water as possible when cleaning your velvet to avoid having the water soak into the bag lining and internal padding. Keep bag flat while lighting rubbing. Use a towel to press / pat out out the water on all sides including the inside when done and line dry on a flat surface.

Metallic Linens: For metallic linen bags we suggest dry cleaning to prevent shrinkage.
